Underneath the adventure and breathless escapes, The Scarlet Pimpernel is a story of sacrifice, of taking a stand against greater odds no matter what the cost. The League of the Scarlet Pimpernel is dedicated to following Sir Percy "into the fire," against the tyrannies of the French Revolution's Terror; their beliefs in freedom mean more to them then their safety.
